P.H. Culver has been a fixture in Marion County real estate for the past 32 years. Mr. Culver grew up in Ocala attending local schools and graduating in 1987. He then attended Central Florida Community College (now College of Central Florida) and finished his education at Florida State University where he received degrees in finance and real estate. He has held his real estate license to practice in Florida since 1988.
Upon graduation, Mr. Culver spent a hot Florida summer working at the construction firm of Cullison Wright. It was there he learned the intricacies of construction. It was an excellent experience to see the different phases of construction from rough plumbing through drywall finishing and painting.
That fall, Mr. Culver joined the team at Ellison Realty where he has remained for the past 28 years. He continues to be a top producer annually. Through the years he has held many officer positions with Ocala Marion County Board of Realtors and served on many advisory boards.
Mr. Culver has held the status of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) having completed his certification in 1997. He has also sat for sections of the Member Appraisal Institute (MAI) exams.
P.H. is currently the chairman of the Housing Finance Authority (HFA) in Marion County.
He has been a volunteer coach with the YMCA for the past 20 years. He also coaches at his children's school and is an active member of his church. P.H. and his wife, Christy, have been married for 27 years and have five children. The two oldest boys are currently working on master's degrees at Florida State University. The three youngest are students at Ocala Christian Academy.
