What is the HFA?
The Housing Finance Authority of Marion County was formed on June 3, 1980 to unite both public and private entities to serve all areas within the county, as authorized by Chapter 159 Part IV of Florida Statutes. Home buyer purchase assistance
Community Services staff works with lenders, contractors and realtors to help you buy an affordable home of your own. All applications are funded on a first qualified, first served basis as long as funding is available and will be reviewed by staff for eligibility. Funding is not guaranteed and is contingent upon final approval.
